Band releases album as ring tones

The BBC News reported that a certain band from Germany has released their albums into ring tones. It is said that the band has brought forth with this as a distinctive way in order to get people in millions to listen their great music. The report also stated that the band has made it rather than CD making as the Super Smart decided to market or bring out their album as ring tones.

The band says, “They wanted to avoid the traditional route of making music.” The report reads further that the Panda Babies, an electro punk and disco pop mix, was published by a company which focuses on music for mobiles. However, to download an album will cost approximately of about £1.30 as an introductory price.

"Music has to be re-thought," said by the founder of Go Fresh Mobile Music label, Antonio Vince Staybl. But the company says, “It has already signed up 20 artists and has sold a million ringtones in just under a year.”

On the other hand, the phone ring tones became more popular with an estimate of about £70 million ring tones sold in UK in 2003. The report reads that ring tones are set to outsell CD singles as the report said. In fact, BBC has discovered that money that was made from ring tones can shoot up to an amount of £70 million in 2003. It said further that people now are fond of downloading ring tones.
